About Us

The Government of the Kingdom of Swaziland enacted the Registration of Architects, Engineers, Surveyors & Allied Professionals Act No 15 of 2013, that provides for the establishment of the Architects, Engineers, Surveyors and Allied Professionals Registration Council.

Allied professional means a construction manager, environmental manager, evaluer, project manager, town planner or any other professional that the Minister may, by notice published in the Gazette designate as an allied professional.

Part III of the Act empowers the Registrar (CEO of the Council) to keep a register of professional architects, engineers, surveyors and allied professionals and further publish same.

Parts V to VIII of the Act prohibits anyone from performing professional architectural work, engineering work, quantity surveying work and allied work if that person is not registered with the Council. The Act also prohibits the employment of such person to perform the professional work in both the public and private sectors including parastatals.
